Sutra of the King of Concentrations mentions, ‘Even though I proclaim the supreme Dharma, if upon hearing it, you do not put it into practice, it is like a sick person carrying medicine but never taking it, and the illness within oneself cannot be cured.’ In many cultural and religious traditions, the understanding of knowledge and doctrine is just the beginning. True transformation occurs when Buddhism is integrated into daily life, thoughts, and actions. Through practical actions and experiences, one can discover the genuine purpose of learning Buddhism and purify the body and mind.
