六堡:
六堡茶属于黑茶,后发酵茶类。原产于广西苍梧县六堡乡,因此得名。採摘优质茶树鲜叶,按严格工序制作成形,以散茶方式出售或再加工蒸压入竹篓,便于后期储存转化。六堡茶条索匀整紧结,黑褐油润。汤色红浓明淨,滋味醇陈甘和,传统上带有独特的槟榔香。适合日常品饮,有效于怡情和养生。

 

冲泡法:

按泡茶器容量的1/4比例,置入茶叶。注入95℃开水,随即把茶水倒出。首泡不饮用,目的在于醒茶,让茶叶舒展温润,以利下一泡茶发挥滋味。次泡复以95℃开水注满泡茶器,浸泡约30秒,倒出品饮。可反覆冲泡数次。

大红袍:
原产于中国福建高山茶区,属半发酵乌龙茶系。本茶品以採摘优质群叶,经传统武夷茶加工技艺精制而成,乾茶外形紧结,条索硕实,中重焙火让香气幽沉,味道浓酽,入口即感其年份沉敛出的喉韵。

Product Description:

A box of ‘Punya and Prajna’ tea comprises 6 packs of Liu Bao and 6 packs of Da Hong Pao tea, each 10g.

 

Liu Bao:
Liu Bao is a post-fermented (dark) tea.It originates from the town of Liu Bao in Cang Wu County of Guangxi Province, hence the name. The tea is made with hand-picked fresh leaves strictly following a well-established procedure. It is available as loose leaf tea, or packed in a bamboo basket after steam-pressing to facilitate the development of complexity with extended storage. The neat, tight strips of dark brown leaf give a clear, coppery-red infusion with a hint of betel nut. Mellow and rich, it is a soothing everyday beverage with health benefits.
Brewing Hints:

Add tea leaves to the brewing vessel until 1/4 filled. Pour 95℃ fresh boiled water into brewing vessel and drain the tea infusion off immediately. First brew is not for drinking, the purpose is for the tea leaves to unfurl and moisten. This helps release the full flavour of tea for a satisfying brew. For the second brew, refill the brewing vessel with 95°C fresh boiled water, steep for approximately 30 seconds to extract the full flavour. Serve. Re-steep the leaves in a similar manner to enjoy the tea as it develops from steep to steep; continue re-steeping until the leaves are exhausted of flavour.

Da Hong Pao:
A semi-fermented tea of the Oolong family halled from the highland tea-growing area of Fujian Province, China.
Freshly plucked leaves of premium quality are processed according to the time-honoured tradition of Wuyi tea-making. The tight, stout dried leaves impart an understated yet alluring aroma, thanks to medium-heavy roasting. On the palate,it is characterised by a rich taste profile and a lingering sensation in our throat that comes with a well-aged tea.
‘Da Hong Pao’ is an enjoyable all-day beverage. Each sip is refreshing and mood-lifting. It goes well with a heavy meal, eliminating the greasy sensation and oily feeling in the mouth.

Brewing Hints
