YBAM Religious Patron Ven. Chi Chern had a Dharma sharing session during the Welcoming Dinner of 26th YBAM Biennial National Convention, sharing with the attendees his past experience when serving and undertaking at YBAM and also encouraging the new generations of Buddhist youth to practise and introduce new elements relevant to the current era to the organisation during the period of undertaking.
The Welcoming Dinner also had a session ‘Season of Gratitude 1’ dedicated to the ‘Buddhist Digest’ Supervisor cum Executive Editor Sis. Tan Choo Choo and ‘Buddhist Digest’ Assistant Editor cum Webpage Administrator Bro. Ooi Boon Kai who have served YBAM for 36 and 18 years, respectively. In addition to the playing of review videos, there was also a presentation of flowers to both of them to express the gratitude from YBAM, hoping as well the members of YBAM family to set them as an example when it comes to persistent service and upholding the organisation.
