Triple Celebrations of Buddhist Lodge – Sabah & Labuan Buddha Day Ceremony 2023 | Tawau Buddhist Lodge | 30.05.2023
YBAM attended the Sabah & Labuan Buddha Day Ceremony 2023 that was held at Tawau Buddhist Lodge and participated by 17 Sabah Buddhist organisations. YBAM President Bro. Yong Kuei Yoong urged Buddhist organisations to go out and be active outside the temple and society compounds to proactively carry out the work on Dharma propagation and introducing Buddhism to the public. YBAM Religious Patron Ven. B. Sri Saranankara Nayaka Maha Thera reminded the attendees about the importance of daily practice during his Dharma sharing. The other milestones happening on the same day include Duobao Tower, Longevity Tower cum Consecration Ceremony of Buddha Statue, and Appreciation Dinner.
YBAM was represented by President Bro. Yong Kuei Yoong, General Secretary Bro. Eow Shiang Yen, and Deputy General Secretary Sis. Chin Hui Sian.
