YBAM was invited to attend the ‘Top Ten Hanzi Character Candidates for 2023’ Press Conference organised by the nnual Chinese Character Working Committee. After the selection, Prosperous, Safe, Stable, Rice, Expensive, Deficient, Green, Fraud, Chaos and Difficulty were announced as this year’s ten candidates of Hanzi characters of the year. The official Hanzi website (hanzi.com.my/vote) is open for voting to select the annual Hanzi character that summarises the major incidents and focus of our country in 2023 for a total of 21 days from now until 26 November The final result will be announced on 10 December. In addition to the announcement of the top ten Hanzi characters of the year, the press conference also featured various cultural performances and the announcement of the results of the angpau design competitions.
