Day 1 of Study Tour to India | New Delhi, India | 25.10.2023
YBAM was represented by the person-in-charge of YBAM TV Bro. Ong Yee Hong to attend the 9D8N Study Tour to India organised by the Indian Council for Cultural Relation (ICCR). This study tour gathered delegates from Bhutan, Cambodia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Singapore, South Korea, Sri-Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, with the objective of connecting Buddhist workers from various countries.
The itinerary of Day 1 included visiting Buddha Exhibition Hall, National Museum, New Delhi. The delegates had the opportunity of meeting with the Head Priest of the local temple and also chanted and prayed for world peace.
After that, the delegated had an interaction session with the Director General of ICCR Mr Kumar Tuhin. At night, the delegates enjoyed dinner together.
