Day 3 of Study Tour to India | Nalanda, India | 27.10.2023
On the third day of Study Tour to India, the delegates visited heritage sites including Nalanda Monuments and Nalanda Archaeological Museum. Under the guidance of the tour guide, the delegates learned about the background and main structures of the sites, including the lecture hall, dormitory, main hall, pagoda, and others of Nalanda University at that time.
Afterwards, the delegates visited the modern Nalanda University and were received by the Vice Chancellor of university Prof. Abhay Kumar Singh. YBAM representative Bro. Ong Yee Hong presented a souvenir to express his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of university for his reception. Nalanda University hopes to recruit more students from all over the world to study there. Finally, the delegates communicated with the university students (mostly Sangha members) from different countries at university.
